Our project, built with Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB/PostgreSQL for the backend, and Next.js for the frontend, is dedicated to ensuring user privacy and data security. Getting Started

Prerequisites

Before setting up Xmail, ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js (latest version)
  • npm or yarn
  • Git

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository
    git clone https://github.com/your-username/xmail.git
    cd xmail

Running the Application

  1. Start the Backend Server Navigate to the backend directory and install dependencies:

    npm start
    
  2. Launch the Frontend Server In a separate terminal, navigate to the frontend directory and install dependencies:

    npm run dev
    

This will start the frontend development server, accessible at > http://localhost:3000.
