The redirect URI is checked to be not empty for every flow

AFAIK only the autorization code and implicit flows need a redirect URI. Even for them, it is optional.

I do know for sure that the client credentials flow doesn't use a redirect URI.

In my application I have some accounts that I know for sure that they are going to be used only with the client credentials flow. I can work around the issue and make the GetRedirectURI function of my clients return some bogus string for them.
