Sorry it took me so long to respond...this issue dropped off my radar. My guess is that you have a broken udunits installation that is affecting your ability to load the sf package (on which ggspatial depends). I would try install.packages("udunits") and see if that fixes things. If not, you may have to reinstall udunits on your platform before trying a reinstall of the package. Hope that helps!
