Config
You can set command defaults in two ways, so you don't have to set them every time.
Envars
Set an envar named GITHUB_SLACK_SPAMMER
with whatever CLI params you wish to set.
env GITHUB_SLACK_SPAMMER="-o paradox460 -r github_slack_spammer -c #ghss -g mytoken -s mytoken" github_slack_spammer
This is useful if you use things like direnv
Config files
You can also set a global config file at ~/.config/github_slack_spammer
Put, on their own lines, each cli param you wish to use. Format of config file is Nim's parsecfg format, which resembles INI
--owner = "paradox460"
--repos = "github_slack_spammer"
--channel = "#ghss"
--github_token = "token"
--slack_token = "token"
You can combine config files, envars, and cli invocations. Config values cascade, with CLI being the highest-priority. See --help-syntax
for info
