A web-based note-taking app with GitHub sync and Markdown support. (WIP)

Installation

Redux DevTools Chrome extension is required for development!

git clone git@github.com:taniarascia/takenote
cd takenote
npm i
npm start

Features

  • Plaintext notes with markdown highlighting and frontmatter metadata
  • Add, update, trash, download, and delete notes
  • Add, update, delete categories
  • Add notes to categories or mark as favorite
  • Keybinding shortcuts
  • Settings
  • Sync and backup notes to GitHub gist (currently local storage)
