Pada Topologi CPT tersebut dibagi alamat IP-nya dengan metode Classful :
Metode Variable Length Subnet Masking kami gunakan untuk pengerjaan yang di CPT.
Menentukan jumlah alamat IP yang dibutuhkan oleh tiap subnet dan lakukan labelling netmask berdasarkan jumlah IP yang dibutuhkan. Berikut merupakan hasilnya dalam bentuk tabel :
Selanjutnya hitung pembagian IP berdasarkan tree berikut :

Perhitungan pada teknik Classless Inter Domain Routing juga didasarkan pada jumlah komputer/ host yang ada di dalam subnet. Kami menggunakan teknik ini untuk pengerjaan yang di UML.
Melakukan labelling netmask terhadap masing-masing subnet yang tahap-tahapnya sebagai berikut :
Dari proses penggabungan yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan sebuah subnet besar dengan netmask /16. Berikut pembagian NID serta lengthnya dalam bentuk tabel :
Lalu hitung pembagian IP dengan tree berdasarkan penggabungan subnet yang telah dilakukan :
Buat file topologi.sh
dan jalankan file tersebut dengan perintah bash topologi.sh

Lakukan setting interface pada setiap UML dengan nano/etc/network/interfaces
. Lalu restart dengan service networking restart
. Jangan lupa uncomment net.ipv4.ip_forward=1
pada nano /etc/sysctl.conf
di semua router.

Setelah selesai melakukan setting interface, jalankan iptables –t nat –A POSTROUTING –o eth0 –j MASQUERADE –s 192.168.0.0/16
pada uml SURABAYA agar terhubung ke internet. Lalu, lakukan routing dibawah ini dengan cara nano route.sh
. Ketika selesai menambahkan route, jalankan routing dengan bash route.sh
