How to setup cyrillic fonts in Ubuntu Linux:
Edit /etc/apt/sources/list
add the following line
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy multiverse
deb-src http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy multiverse
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy-updates multiverse
deb-src http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy-updates multiverse
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts
