English Lexicon

lexicon.txt is list of English words and phrases, compiled from the following sources:

UKACD18plus.txt is Ross Beresford's UKACD dictionary, with the bowdlerisations from UKACD17 undone and some errors corrected. It is taken from quinapalus.com.
popular_words.txt is a list of the not-quite-10,000 most popular English words. It is taken from the google-10000-english-no-swears.txt file in Josh Kaufman's google-10000-english repo.
tv2006.txt is a ranked list of about 41,000 words from TV subtitles, taken from Wiktionary.
words1.txt and words2.txt are words of 1 and 2 letters respectively

sowpods.txt and twl106.txt are Scrabble dictionaries (UK and US respectively).
