Usage

You can either call the conversion method directly from the Conversions module:

Conversions.Boolean(1)             # => true
Conversions.Boolean("t")           # => true
Conversions.Boolean("true")        # => true
Conversions.Boolean(0)             # => false
Conversions.Boolean("f")           # => false
Conversions.Boolean("false")       # => false
Conversions.Boolean("some_value")  # => false
Conversions.Boolean(nil)           # => false

Or, you can include the Conversions module first:

include Conversions

Boolean(1) # => true
Boolean("t") # => true
Boolean("true") # => true
Boolean(0) # => false
Boolean("f") # => false
Boolean("false") # => false
Boolean("some_value") # => false
Boolean(nil) # => false

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake test to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
