pyamiimage: error: unrecognized arguments:

I have just started using pyamiimage as part of my internship at CEVOpen. I am running into the following error when I run pyamiimage on "one.png" on terminal on my mac. Anyone can help me with where I am going wrong? Thanks!

Do the filenames really start with "-" ? Most programs treat a "-"or in our case "--"as arguments.

On the same note as what @petermr has said, -/path/to/file doesn't look like a valid path. I've converted the input file and the output file from positional arguments to optional arguments, consider running this command:

pyamiimage -t --infile C:/Users/kaartik/Desktop/ipcc/ar6/wg3/one.png --outfile C:/Users/kaartik/Desktop/ipcc/ar6/onet.txt
