Test repo for EmilStenstrom/django-components#97
License: | BSD |
---|
The purpose of the repo is to recreate issue #97 in django-components. This issue relates to not being able to nest {% block content %}
template blocks within components. As such, this test repo contains a Django app that contains pages for two examples where this doesn't work, one where the component and block are in the base template, and one where they are in an intermediate template inside another block.
This repo was derived from the cookiecutter package and the cookiecutter-django project (see documentation on these further down the page).
To build the development docker image (assumes you have docker installed), run:
$ docker-compose -f local.yml build
Run:
$ docker-compose -f local.yml up
You can then access the Django webapp via localhost:9000 (port can be changed in the local.yaml
file)
Moved to settings.
To create a normal user account, just go to Sign Up and fill out the form. Once you submit it, you'll see a "Verify Your E-mail Address" page. Go to your console to see a simulated email verification message. Copy the link into your browser. Now the user's email should be verified and ready to go.
To create an superuser account, use this command:
$ python manage.py createsuperuser
For convenience, you can keep your normal user logged in on Chrome and your superuser logged in on Firefox (or similar), so that you can see how the site behaves for both kinds of users.
Running type checks with mypy:
$ mypy django_components_issue97
To run the tests, check your test coverage, and generate an HTML coverage report:
$ coverage run -m pytest $ coverage html $ open htmlcov/index.html
$ pytest
Moved to Live reloading and SASS compilation.
The following details how to deploy this application.
