NEAR Social

Introduction

NEAR Social is a NEAR blockchain-powered social network for valuable information and data exchange. The core idea of the platform is high valuable information and data monetization in a secure, transparency and trustworthy way.

NEAR Social users can publish posts on the platform for free, or sell them at reasonable prices. The posts can include valuable ideas, investment opinions, software licenses, analytical reports, or other NFT. Other users on the platform can buy these with NEAR tokens or sponsor the users. Also, users can follow each other to keep updated with the latest posts.

Scenarios

  1. Makers can sell or transfer digital goods/data/NFT to the users on the platform. Followers will get notifications with the new posts.
  2. Investors can sell investment opinions to their followers. Oracle machines may be introduced for evaluating investment performance.
  3. Developers own open source projects can be sponsored by the community on the platform.

Milestones (3 months)

  • M1: Support basic social network features: NEAR Wallet login, text and link posts, user profile and basic follow/like actions.
  • M2: Add token related features: sell/buy posts support, different data type support, and making high valuable posts more discoverable.
  • M3: Support NEAR private shards for data exchange between enterprises securely.
