My dotfiles

Install

git clone https://github.com/pjaspers/dotfiles.git ~/somewhere/dotfiles
cd ~/somewhere/dotfiles
script/bootstrap

This will create symlinks to the files that need to be in the home directory. It’s safe to run this script over and over again, it will delete the old ones and symlink in the new ones.

What’s in them?

bin All kinds of scripts ranging from non-useful to almost useful
git Things related to git
ruby Mainly irbrc and pryrc settings
script Scripts to use with this repo
zsh My zsh setup (with some functions in them as well)

Should I be using this?

No. You’ll probably want your own, borrow/steal whatever you need, but since these are my dotfiles I’ll probably break them or change them in a way that you won’t like them anymore. But forge your own, it’s fun!
