How to install?

Color schemes are located at

  • Mac OS ~/Library/Preferences/IntelliJIDEA12/colors/
  • Linux ~/.IntelliJIDEA12/config/colors/
  • Windows %USERPROFILE%/.IntelliJIdea12/config/colors/

To install Monokai color scheme:

  • Close IDEA application
  • Copy monokai.xml file with color scheme to color schemes' folder
  • Run IDEA application
  • Choose scheme name in [Main Menu] -> [File] -> [Settings] -> [Colors & Fonts] dialog
