This is a recreation of the game Flappy Bird using openFrameworks and coded in c++.

How to play

The game is a simple flappy bird simulation. The controls are as follows.

  • Space = Makes the bird 'flap'
  • R = Restarts the game after you die
  • Q = Changes the color of the bird you are currently playing.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

You will need to have openFrameworks downloaded into your computer.

http://openframeworks.cc/

Also you will need to have XCode, which subsequenty requires that you use a Macintosh.

Run Via XCode.

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/pradeepsen99/flappy_bird-openFrameworks.git

Open the XCode Project

flappy_bird-openFrameworks\flappy_bird\flappy_bird.xcodeproj

Then you can run the game off of XCode.

Run Basic App

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/pradeepsen99/flappy_bird-openFrameworks.git

Go to the main directory

cd flappy_bird/bin
open ./flappy_birdDebug.app/

The game should start to play right away.
