Abstract

This is the API for the Guild Messenger app by pthan1.

Install and Set Up

To run the server:

  1. Clone down the repo
  2. Cd into guild_messenger_api
  3. Run npm install
  4. Run node server.js. After the server loads, you should see a message in the console saying "Guild Messenger App Server is running on http://localhost:3001."
  5. Navigate to http://localhost:3001. You should see a message saying "Welcome to the Guild Messenger API!"
  6. Go back to the app's repo and install the app.
