PDO Utils for PHP
Extension of PDO adding some helper functions to make database-dealing code shorter and more concise. Originally presented by Vic Cherubini (@leftnode) in the The Last PHP PDO Library You Will Ever Need post in his blog.
I added the fetch_scalar method, connection code boilerplate, and some
examples, so that I can plug it into my projects quickly.
