Scripts to modify SeaDAS for using SS14 and SSP algorithms.
Note that these scripts are tested with SeaDAS v2020.1 and might need slight modifications to be used with newer versions.
To install these scripts in SeaDAS, it should be compiled. The process to compile SeaDAS can be found here.
-
Backup the existing scripts in
$OCSSWROOT/ocssw_src/src/l2gen
and then place the scripts provided here. -
Add the
get_kappa.c
to$OCSSWROOT/ocssw_src/src/l2gen/CMakeLists.txt
in theL2GEN_PRODUCT_FILES
section. -
Add the following definition to
l2prod.h
. You can choose your own product ID (XXX) and name, if it is available.#define CAT_kappa XXX
-
Compile the code as described here.
-
While running
l2gen
useaer_opt=-20
for SSP algorithm andaer_opt=-21
for SS14 algorithm. -
If you want to use kappa as a L2 product you will need to modify
l2prod.h
,l12_proto.h
andprodgen.c
as mentioned inHOWTO_Add_a_product.txt
present in the$OCSSWROOT/ocssw_src/src/l2gen
folder inside ocssw. You will have to add the product in theproduct.xml
file present in$OCDATAROOT/common
.
