Tableau DataTables Extension

The Tableau DataTables Extension was built for several purposes:

To aide in my understanding of this wonderful new Tableau functionality.
To leverage the widely used DataTables.net libraries in Tableau dashboards.
To provide an open source example for others to look at, learn from, and improve upon.

Install Guide

Once installed, clone this repository:

$ git clone https://github.com/tableaumagic/tableau-datatables-extension.git

run the following yarn command:

$ yarn install

Install http-server

$ npm install http-server -g

Run the http-server

$ http-server

Open the datatables.trex file in Tableau Desktop 2018.2 or greater
