Docker Image - Flask "Hello, World!" Webapp

This is a simple Flask Web Application Docker Image which puts out "Hello, World!".

This is my first ever builded Docker image in journey of learning Devops.

Running Image

Below are the steps to get this image up and running on your system:

  • Docker Installation
  • Running image with the command

1. Docker Installation

Visit the official Docker Documentation to get Docker up and running on your system.

2. Running Image with the Command

Start your terminal and enter the following command:

  docker run divyanshurawat/hello-world

Running Tests

To test whether the image is running properly or not, visit

  http://localhost:8080/

On successful Run of the image you'll see a message - "Hello, World!".
