so this happens when ever I try to load in ray.x

I'm gonna go mental I swear this worked like a week ago haha but changing the compatibility mode to Windows 8 and so on did not help

Similar situation here. Every time I load in the ray.x file, it just flat out crashes. no pop ups, no nothing. I have tried other versions and its the same thing. Changing the compatibility to anything didn't work at all either so now I'm not even sure what to do :/

did you change the ray.conf file before opening it ? maybe you should try to change like sun shadow quality to 1 to see if it makes a difference

Mine just says "Failed to reset Mikumikudance" then crashes doesn't matter if I have anything else even in it

close MMD, right-click on the icon and click on 'resolve problems' (or something like this) and click on 'Windows 8 compatibility mode' (yes even if you're on Windows 10) and it should work !

I appreciate the help unfortunately it didnt fix the entire problem :( it did load but the "time of day" skyboxes isnt loading right only loads like part of the box the dome like part is still missing

@Starrysgirl time of day isn't working if your graphic card isn't updated or too old sadly :/

@Fau13F everything is up to date and it's only a few years old time of night works just not time of day

I also have never been able to use Time of Day. Got a new gfx card, latest drivers, redownloaded (as well as trying other version both 32 and 64 bit, both MMD and MME) and reinstalled everything, but Time of Day still never works.
