A simple program to play a silent track that will keep toslink devices active and prevent them from going to sleep. Soundbro is a Java program that will loop a silent audio track to prevent Toslink (Fiber Optic) audio devices from going to sleep when there is no sound output.
To Install:
- Download the prebuilt .jar or compile using the netbeans source. Download sound.wav.
- Make a new folder in the c: drive named "soundbro".
- Copy soundbro.jar and sound.wav to the soundbro folder.
- Run and/or add a startup entry to run the program every time the computer starts.
To create a startup entry in windows:
- Create a shortcut to soundbro.jar.
- Place shortcut in All Programs > Startup folder.
