This repository contains code and resources related to the FinOps GPT project. The goal of the project is to connect to your faviourite Cloud service providers to analyze the costs and get recommendations.
We have made this repository public to encourage collaboration and allow anyone to use, modify, and contribute to the project. We believe that open-source collaboration is a powerful way to drive innovation and improve software quality.
To get started with the project, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/web3tej/FinOpsGPT.git
- Once downloaded, you can add your AWS, Azure cloud environment related details and it also requires you to add your Open AI key to get the recommendations.
We welcome contributions from the community! If you would like to contribute to this project, please follow these steps:
- Fork the repository.
- Create a new branch for your changes.
- Commit your changes and push them to your fork.
- Create a pull request, and we will review your changes.
NOTE: DO NOT SHARE OR ANY CLOUD CREDENTIALS instead add the instrucitons on what the user have to do.
Please ensure that your code follows our coding standards and includes tests, if applicable. .
You just need VS Code and Python installed.
- Once your keys are configured.
- Run the respective .py file and and follow on screen recommendations.
- Any issues you find, pls add it to the Issues section.
