[REQUEST] Saving Static Parameters from Design Optimization

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Static parameters are just printed to the console at the end of Design Optimization. They need to be added to a file or otherwise stored for evaluation and use.

Describe the solution you'd like
An XML file with a list of static parameters with two elements: the name of the parameter array and the values found for that array. Array could be length 1.

Describe alternatives you've considered
We could also save the results to a text file, but re-parsing that text file could be difficult.
