System Requirements

The Go compiler.

Here are the installation instructions for Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install build-essential -y

wget https://go.dev/dl/go1.21.1.linux-amd64.tar.gz

sudo tar -C /usr/local -xzf go1.21.1.linux-amd64.tar.gz

echo 'export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin' >> ~/.bashrc

source ~/.bashrc

The latest version of Node.JS and Typescript.

Here are the installation instructions for Ubuntu:

sudo apt update -y

curl -fsSL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_current.x | sudo -E bash -

sudo apt-get install -y nodejs

sudo npm install ts-node -g

Building the Resonate Server

git clone https://github.com/resonatehq/resonate.git

cd resonate

go build -o resonate

Starting the Resonate Server

./resonate serve

You'll get output similar to the following:
