Type name Gjs_containers_royg_extension_ is already registered

After following the instructions from the README (git clone && make all), I logged out/in and tried to enable the extension. Extensions reports the error "Type name Gjs_containers_royg_extension_ is already registered".

OS: Fedora 35 Silverblue
GNOME: 41.2

still happens? I can't reproduce this on silverblue

Afraid so. I removed the extension, logged out/in, reinstalled it, logged back/in, and I have the same error when I activate it.

Still wasn't able to reproduce.
Which user are you using to install it?
Maybe this will help

$ gnome-extensions reset containers@royg
$ make all

No worries. I just checked, and the issue seems to be resolved (Fedora Silverblue 37).
