You can download the xml files from http://www.losungen.de/download/ and put them in data/xml. Change the filename to the four digit year.(e.g the xml file for 2019 should be named 2019.xml)
Then with HTTP GET:
/api/today or /api/2019/03/21 (/api/YYYY/MM/DD)
