Simple program for sending data over USB. I use it to simplify testing of RF transmitter projects by sending commands to an arduino with and RF24Lo1 attached. The arduino code is here.
- Support modem speeds other than 9600 (add an optional argument)
$ ./send-usb --help
usage: send-usb [-h] --string STRING [--port PORT] [--wait WAIT]
Send strings over USB
optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
--string STRING The string to send
--port PORT USB port to use, defaults to /dev/ttyUSB0
--wait WAIT Seconds to wait after opening the connection. Useful for
devices like arduino that are rest when the serial
connection is opened.
