A meal-invite, is an event creation and RSVP service that connects busy parents with neighbors and their local communityaround meal sharing.
According to the California Institute of Technology, 17.1 million US households are food insecure, meaning they lack access to the financial resources to obtain adequate food for a healthy diet. For women with care-giving responsibilities or multiple jobs, there are strict time constraints that may impede the ability to prepare healthy meals at home.
This is where MealVite comes in. If you're a busy parent, connect with your Yo account, submit your current zip code, and we'll help you find someone sharing dinner tonight. If you're looking to cook a bit more this more and don't mind company, create a meal specifying the type of meal you're preparing and how much you'd like your guest to contribute.
