minecraft-basic
This is a cookbook that installs the vanilla Minecraft server.
I have written a post on how to use this cookbook and deploy it to Digital Ocean here.
I took a lot of this setup from minecraft.gamepedia.com. There might be some things you'd like to tweak, so please take a look at the configuration options. If you would like to configure your Minecraft server, you need to either use override attributes, or edit the attributes/default.rb and upload your cookbook to a Chef Server. A brief explanation for the different options are located in the attributes/default.rb.
Setting Operator
Add an operator to default['minecraft_basic']['ops'] = ''
