Automatizando download de imagens do CBERS4A

Quando precisamos fazer o download das imagens do satélite sino-brasileiro, ele nos dá a opção de baixar um a um, ou então um arquivo com todos os links. Como é um processo um pouco repetitivo, resolvi criar esse script, otimizando tempo.

Passo 1

  • Baixar o arquivo .txt com os links das imagens

  • Alterar o nome do arquivo para cbers.txt

Passo 2

  • Colocar o arquivo .txt em uma pasta com o nome da região

  • Aproveite para copiar e colar o arquivo .py dentro dessa mesma pasta

Passo 3

  • Rodar o código

Output

  • Todas as imagens serão baixadas para a pasta que você criou no passo 2.

Automating CBERS4A Image Download

When we need to download images from the Chinese-Brazilian satellite, it gives us the option to download one by one, or else a file with all the links. As it is a somewhat repetitive process, I decided to create this script, optimizing the time.

Step 1

  • Download the .txt file with the image links

  • Change the file name to cbers.txt

Step 2

  • Place the .txt file in a folder with the name of the region you're working at.

  • Take the opportunity to copy and paste the .py file into that same folder

Step 3

  • Run the code

Output

  • All images shall be saved in the folder you created in step 2.
