A simple script to block ads in youtube
- Copy the code in the src.js file.
- Open www.youtube.com.
- Open your Javascript console. To do this,
- For Macbook Users :
- Chrome : Press Option+Command+J
- Safari : Press Option+Command+C
- Firefox : Press Option+Command+K
- For Windows Users :
- Chrome : Press Ctrl+Shift+J
- Firefox : Press Ctrl+Shift+K
- For Macbook Users :
- After opening the console, paste the code in the code writing area (Usually it is present in the bottom of the page). You can also simple press Ctrl+V.
- Now return back to the youtube page. Note: Do not restart the browser and then open the youtube page. Simply close the Console window.
Voila !! That's it.>!! now stream your favourite videos without cursing the ads.
You have to do this everytime you start youtube. I will soon update a Chrome extension, so that you can start it with just a click.
