windisch

Life cycle assessment for wind turbines.

A fully parameterized Python model initially developed in Sacchi et al. 2019 and
Besseau et al. 2019 to perform life cycle assessments (LCA) of wind turbines.

Windisch also happens to be a small town in canton of Aargau, Switzerland (not particularly windy though).

See the documentation for more detail, validation, etc. There is also a notebook with examples on how to use the library.

Install

windisch is at an early stage of development and is subject to continuous change and improvement. Two ways of installing windisch are suggested.

We recommend the installation on Python 3.9 or above.

Installation of the latest version, using conda

conda install -c romainsacchi windisch

Installation of a stable release from Pypi (not active yet)

pip install windisch

As a Web app

An early form of windisch has been used here
for fast comparisons of wind turbines in Denmark.
