This is an app to fetch, from a search, nearby attractions, the nearest CTA train stop with incoming arrival times, and weather information for the city of Chicago.
Nearby attractions are displayed on a map with their locations marked. The attractions are also listed with links for directions (Google) and additional information (FOURSQUARE).
The current weather is displayed as well as the forecast every three hours for the next five days.
The landing page includes a search bar for location and a drop down for the type of nearby attraction you are interested in. The attraction options are

- Sights
- Trending
Click the "Search" button to get to the results page.
The results view shows the current time, weather, map of attractions, and train tracker.
Click the "Right Now" and "Hourly Forecast" sections to toggle the current weather display, as well as the five-day forecast.
The map is a fully functional Google Maps window. Click and drag to pan, click +/- to zoom in and out.
Each entry on the list of attractions to the right of the map can be expanded for more information. Links go to Google Maps and FOURSQUARE.
At the bottom of the page, the train schedule shows up to 10 trains leaving the closest CTA L station.
