Text Recognition and Response App
This application uses a camera to capture an image, extracts any text present in the image using the Google Cloud Vision API, and then provides a spoken response to any recognized questions. Additionally, it also includes an example of integrating Arduino for hardware interactions.
Prerequisites
- Python 3.7 or higher
- Kivy
- google-cloud-vision
- gTTS
- SpeechRecognition
- Arduino
You can install these packages using pip:
pip install kivy google-cloud-vision gtts SpeechRecognition
Arduino should be installed and set up according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Usage
To run the application, simply execute the main script:
python main.py
When you press the "Take Picture" button, the application will capture an image from your camera, extract any text present in the image, and display the recognized text. If any questions are detected in the text, the application will generate a spoken response.
The application can interact with an Arduino device. The code related to Arduino integration should be written according to the requirements of the specific project and hardware.
