'Mesh prefab is missing, can't revert to default pose'

Closed this issue · 4 comments

Getting this with the latest version. Someone told me it might be because I need to set the T-Pose animation for my avatar as a prefab for the program, yet I've never had to do that before (nor would I know how to do such a thing outside of using UMotion).
I get this with Avatars 2.0 and 3.0.

What the heck does it mean by 'mesh prefab'?

It gets the prefab of your avatar and reverts the positions of everything to that.
If you don't have a mesh prefab then your fbx is the prefab.

If you don't have a fbx then what are you doing?

What am I "doing"...? Excuse me? Why do I feel like you're treating me like an idiot for not knowing what a mesh prefab is? I wouldn't be asking in here if I knew what the problem was. I also wouldn't be asking if Google explained what the hell a 'mesh prefab' was.
Ofc the avatar has an fbx. It's the only way it actually is an avatar. Now, I've checked the rigging and I'm not seeing an issue. The only thing I can think of is suddenly your program has an issue with special characters in the fbx's name (which was never a problem before).

Can you please look this up if this is the case?

Maybe I broke something? I'll take a look at it later today.

There's now more options to reset pose that don't need a prefab.
