Looks like #6 was closed, yet I don't see such a type in the API. I wrote myself a VolMatrix and I'd gladly contribute back

I'm certainly interested in at least seeing what you came up with. I believe the issue got closed because I needed it for gba VRAM mapping, but then I just decided to use some const fn helpers around a single VolBlock
