Ruby IDS - Intrusion Detection in Ruby Ruby IDS provides a basic framework for creating an intrusion detection system with flexible rules written in ruby. The system is modular so new protocols can be added as needed. This is just a proof of concept, there is still much work that has to be done to make it ready for beta testing.
