This is a rack middleware that convert params key between JavaScript app and Rails app.
For example, your JavaScript app posts below JSON (camelized key),
{ "userName": "Jotaro Kujo",
"createdAt": "1989-03-18T09:45:00.000Z"
}
And your rails app can receive params as underscored key
puts params[:user_name] # "Jotaro Kujo"
puts params[:created_at] # "1989-03-18T09:45:00.000Z"
Your rails app's response as below (underscored key),
{ "user_name": "Noriaki Kakyoin",
"created_at": "1989-03-18T09:45:00.000Z"
}
And JavaScript app can receive as camelized key.
{ "userName": "Noriaki Kakyoin",
"createdAt": "1989-03-18T09:45:00.000Z"
}
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'rack-params_key_converter'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install rack-params_key_converter
Add below to your rails app's config/initializers
Rails.configuration.middleware.insert_after(ActionDispatch::ParamsParser, Rack::ParamsKeyConverter)
