NeoVIM

if you are using my NeoVIM config i recomned you alredy know how to set one up on your ow$n. I use Vim-Plug witch needs to be installed beforhand and i recomend you read the documentation for it. once everyting is installed run :PlugInstall if it dosent work restart nvim and try agein.

  • bar: Once everything is installed move bubblegum.vim from my-dotfiles/nvim/vim-airline-themes to ~/.local/share/nvim/plugged/vim-airline-themes/autoload/airline/themes/ DELETE THE bubblegum.vim file in that drectory and replace it with the new one.
  • start screen: move girl.lua from the startup drectory to ~/.local/share/nvim/plugged/startup.nvim/lua/startup/themes/
  • autocomplete: just read its documentation i wont help you its anoying to setup/ it depens on what language you use

Firefox

  • make a chrome if not done google how to do it. Then move the contents of the chrome folder to the new one.
  • then install tab center reborn and copy and past the contents tabCenterReborn.txt to the .css box in extention setings.
  • color theme is a theme for the mozzilla store called pitch-black pink
  • you can configure the incogneto image by moving an img to the img folder and naming it private.png(there are other ways this is just easy) and change the name of the previous one.

start_up.c

is what i use to run startx as i dont have a login manager(so probebly dont use or atlest change the ascci art)

codestartup.c

prints ascci art in the termnal for vs code and nvim

everyting else

everyting else should be straght foward read the documentation if you need any help

list of software i use

  • fastfetch
  • firefox
  • i3wm
  • kitty(if useing my config i recommend using kitty if you use any of the terminal applications)
  • polybar(bar)
  • nitrogen(wallpaper)
  • picom(transparent background)
  • rofi(aplication starter, if you use sompting else cange the i3 config file to reflect that)
  • betterlockscreen(images are stord in the catch run the first time you use it 'betterlockscreen -u "/path/to/ img.jpg"')
  • spotify_player(requiers spotify premem unfortnetly when it requests username and password it your spotify one wich may be a long string of letters and numbers)
  • nerdfonts (jetbrains mono) i think
