Project contains all the various basic user interactions that can be done via Appium Java Client 5.0.4. Majority of the tutorials are performed on API Demo app v8.0.0.
Following are the various methods practiced for testing purpose:
- Native android calculator app testing for addition operation.
- Hybrid app testing for elements on a web page embedded in an android app.
- Swipe action both vertical and horizontal.
- Selecting value from auto complete drop down control in native android app.
- Changing orientation from default mode i.e. POTRAIT to LANDSCAPE.
- Long press action on mobile elements.
- Switching application from 1 app to another. Generated OTP via API Demo app and verified the message on messaging app.
- Screenshot when test cases are failed.
- CROSS PLATFORM testing of tap functionality on Pixel and Nexus devices using TestNG Framework.
