MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) News Portal, designed following industry best practices and utilizing JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for secure user authentication.

Installation

Use the package manager Node.js to install....

Clone the Repo

git clone https://github.com/samcasmmm/news-mern.git

then go to api directory

add .env file

NODE_ENV = development
PORT = 8080
MONGODB_URL = 'YOUR_MONGO_URL'
SECRET_KEY = 'YOUR_SECRET_KEY'

cd ./api

npm i

// after the installation

npm run server

For Frontend

cd ./client

npm i

npm run
