Sample web app for learning django

To setup this django project on your machine, do the following:

install virtualenv (http://www.virtualenv.org)
mkdir journal
cd journal
virtualenv env (this creates a virtual python environment called 'env' in the current directory)
source env/bin/activate (this activates the new virtual environment. you should see '(env)' prepended to your PS1)
git clone https://github.com/samcc1/journal.git
cd journal
pip install -r requirements.txt
python manage.py syncdb
python manage.py collectstatic
python manage.py runserver
go to http://localhost:8000 to verify that the test server is working
