This project is a business process for a simple car insurance quote. It demonstrates how easy it is to build a platform for selling car insurance. Although a simple representation of the actual insurance industry process, it will cover all aspects of Enterprise architecture required to get to a fully functioning quote engine. The car insurance quote is implemented with JBoss Business Rules Management System (BRMS) and the BPM components found in this product.

Setup and Configuration

See Quick Start Guide in project as ODT and PDF for details on installation. For those that can't wait:

• see README in 'installs' directory

• add products

• run 'init.sh' & read output

• read Quick Start Guide

• start JBoss EAP server

• login to BRM (http://localhost:8080/jboss-brms)

• import repository-export from support dir

• build and deploy project in BRM

• login to Business Central (http://localhost:8080/business-central)

• start demo via RH6PD webapp (http://localhost:8080/rh6pd)

Released versions

See the tagged releases for the following versions of the product:

• v1.0 moved to JBoss Demo Central.

• v1.0 is BRMS 5.3.1 deployable, running on JBoss EAP 6.
