Pypi version

Hi Samuel,
I think that you haven't uploaded the last version of the lib to pypi (at least not what's on master). Encoding using pypi version I've a the error "NameError: name 'basestring' is not defined" which I don't have installing from git.

Bumped the version in master to 2.2.0 and pushed it to PyPi. Hope that helps!
