To set up and run the application on your local machine, follow these steps:
Before proceeding with the installation, ensure that you have the following:
- Apache web server
- MySQL database server
- PHP
- PHPMyAdmin
- Clone or download this repository to your local machine.
- Navigate to the
htdocs
or equivalent directory of your Apache web server installation. - Create a folder named
final
if it doesn't already exist. - Copy the contents of the downloaded repository into the
final
folder.
- Launch PHPMyAdmin or any other MySQL administration tool.
- Create a new database named "master".
- Inside the "master" database, import the SQL file provided in the
database
folder of this repository. This file contains the necessary tables and data for the application.
- Ensure that both Apache and MySQL services are running.
- Open your web browser and enter the following URL:
http://localhost/final/login/main.php
- You should now see the login page for Robocoupler.
To access the application, use the following credentials:
- Username: nisar
- Password: nisar
- Make sure to update the
username
andpassword
for the MySQL database connection in the appropriate PHP files if you have different credentials. - For security reasons, it is recommended to change the default username and password once you have set up the application.
That's it! You have successfully set up Robocoupler on your local machine. Feel free to explore the various features and functionalities provided by the application.
