I made a Gas detection system through Arduino UNO and GSM SIM 900A. I used a MQ - 2 sensor to detect the gases like Smoke, Alcohol, Methane, LPG etc. This module sends an SMS to specified number in the code an alert that there is gas detected or fire detected.
