DirectX wrapper for Dota2 which assists with hero selection
Download and build using visual studio. Copy the files in build/$(Platform)/$(Configuration) to the same directory as dota.exe. Make sure your d3d9.dll and dota2.exe architechtures match
The addresses need to be updated each time a patch is released for the game (more specifically, when the code is rebuilt) You can open the console in game to check the build revision. Last updated for Build: 7740 (revision 4349091)
I've used it multiple times without repercussions, so I am fairly certain that it is safe to use. We're only reading memory, after all. That being said, I am no expert on anti-cheating measures, so use at your own risk
