Issue with firmware 1.0.10

I had v5doom working on firmware version 1.0.5, however after an update to 1.0.10 it stopped working. There are a number of different error messages that seem to occur randomly. I've tried it on multiple SD cards and there seems to be a distinct set of errors specific to each though each seems to have one where no errors come on serial but it displays something on screen and one where it fails logs to serial and the screen stays black. The times where it logs an error on the serial console happen much more frequently than the ones where an error comes up on the brain screen.
I've tested it on multiple brains and using a different copy of doom1.wad so its nothing with my brain being dead or a corrupted data file.
