This project uses SIFT algorithm to recognize bank notes and coins. In this case we used Bngladeshi notes and coins.

To download the project in your system copy and run the following command-

git clone https://github.com/shafinhasnat/Banknote-recognition-using-SIFT-openCV.git

Usage

To execute the project, paste and run the following command-

siftImg_maxMatch.py -i image.jpg

siftImg_maxMatch.py will return the result with maximum match. siftImg.py will return matches greather than the threshold value which is named as MIN_MATCH_COUNT . And sift.py is for video feed.
